Project Overview
A Japanese lifestyle brand dedicated to gardeners and craftsmen, fast becoming an international favorite in the gardening tools and accessories category, London-based Niwaki brings the very best in Japanese design and craftsmanship, inspiring gardeners, chefs and craftspeople to do what they love.
Niwaki reached out to Pop Up Season for guidance and recommendations around live activations and pop-ups in the greater New York area, including NYC, Brooklyn, and the Hamptons.
Research was conducted and introductions were made to open the door for meaningful partnerships to begin to grow Niwaki’s brand awareness and engage with customers in the greater NY area.
Activations kicked off in Spring 2025 with a series of sponsorships in the Hamptons, laying the groundwork for more to come with primary garden foundations and retailers in the area.
In Fall 2025, Ikebana workshops and a Niwaki product capsule collection were featured at retailer Snow Peak in Brooklyn, NY, initiating a partnership with plans to grow. Projects with multiple parks in and around NYC are slated for Spring, 2026.
